Grade 12 Fee Letter for Parent/Guardians

Awards Night

On Thursday, May 17^th at 6PM we will be hosting our Academic Co-curricular Awards Night. This is a new event which will celebrate the success of our students who have made the Honor Roll or Principals List in Grades 8-12. Also the SMA staff award will be presented to students who are achieving their academic potential and demonstrate the characteristics of good citizenship. These students were nominated by a teacher and supported by the entire staff. Parents and students will receive a personal invitation from the Principal to attend this event. These letters will be mailed during the week of April 30th – May 4^th. If your child receives a letter we encourage all to attend to celebrate their success.

Physical Education Leadership 12

The Grade 12 Physical Education Leadership and Physical Education 10 classes will be going on an overnight camping field trip the week of May 15^th -17^th   The trip will consist of the students hiking to the camping location, setting up camp, participating in a number of outdoor activities, staying overnight and the next day taking the camp down and hiking back to be picked up. The Grade 12 Physical Education Leadership Class will be going on Wednesday- Friday (May 15^th - 17^th) and the Physical Education 10 will join the Leadership Class for Thursday-Friday (May 16^th-17^th).
